PART-TIME EVENING CUSTODIAN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose: This custodian position is responsible for general custodial duties, including but not limited to specific duties listed below, as well as helping with routine maintenance during the summer. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday, evening shift, 20 hours per week.
Accountability
· Reports directly to the Property Manager
· Position has soft-line accountability to the Principal and Ministerial staff
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
· General custodial duties such as cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and emptying trash
· Various miscellaneous custodial duties as needed, such as clean-up of spills or other messes and laundering cleaning towels
· Assist with room set-ups and teardowns for meetings and events, as needed
· Summer duties include re-finishing tile floors, cleaning carpets, deep cleaning throughout the building, painting, other projects as determined by the Property Manager
· Back up for the other evening custodians, should the need arise.

· Ability to perform physical tasks, including some lifting and moving of heavy objects
· Physical ability to operate heavy machinery, such as floor burnisher, carpet extractor
· Ethical and honest in all business dealings
· Faithful in worship life, prayer, and Bible study
