Job Title: Production Coordinator (Lighting Focus)
Job Overview
Rock Creek Church is seeking a full-time Production Coordinator to join our team. This role manages technical execution for our 4,000-member congregation across multiple weekend services and special events. The primary focus is designing and programming the church's lighting and LED video wall systems, while equipping a thriving volunteer team to operate them.
Key Responsibilities
Production Design & Programming
Design creative, immersive lighting and LED wall environments for weekly
large-scale services and special events. .
Program complex lighting cues and moving fixtures using Onyx control systems and timecode.
Configure LED wall processors, scaling, and content mapping for weekend
environments.
Maintain all lighting fixtures, LED panels, data distribution, and hardware.
Volunteer Leadership & Training
Train volunteers to confidently operate Onyx consoles and LED wall systems.
Recruit and onboard new team members into the live production environment.
Build serving rosters for all weekend services and special events.
Technical Coordination
Collaborate with the Creative team on service flows and overall stage
aesthetics.
Organize stage plots, set designs, and technical transitions.
Manage weekly production assets within church scheduling software.
Troubleshoot live production issues across audio, video, lighting, and LED
components.Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of live production experience in large-church
environments.
Technical: Advanced proficiency with Onyx lighting control systems is required.
Video: Proven experience managing, programming, and troubleshooting LED video walls.
Knowledge: Strong mastery of DMX, Art-Net/sACN, video protocols, and power distribution.

Availability: Full-time position requiring weekend, holiday, and evening hours
