Foothills Church is seeking a Communications Director to help advance our mission of Helping People Find and Follow Jesus through clear, creative, and compelling communication.
The Communications Director serves as part of our Central Creative Arts team and is responsible for leading the communication strategy and execution of Foothills Church across multiple campuses, ministries, platforms, and languages. This role will oversee the creation and distribution of content that supports the weekend experience, church events, digital platforms, social media, website, email, advertising, and internal communication.
We are looking for a strong creative leader who can both develop strategy and execute at a high level. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about using communication and creativity to reach people both inside and outside the church.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing church-wide communication strategies; creating and overseeing content for social media, website, sermon series, stories, video, email, signage, and events; maintaining consistency in Foothills Church branding and messaging; managing digital and social platforms; partnering with ministry and campus leaders on promotional needs; recruiting and developing communication volunteers; and evaluating communication effectiveness through engagement and other key metrics.
Candidates should have experience in church or business communications and working knowledge of areas such as graphic design, photography, videography, video editing, social media, advertising, and digital content. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, social media and advertising platforms, content management systems, and related communication tools is strongly preferred.
