Reports To: Lead Pastor
Status: Full-Time | Exempt
- Primary frontline worship leader for Sunday Services.
- Provide leadership and oversight for all worship and production ministries and environments.
- Recruit, equip, schedule, and develop staff and emerging worship leaders.
- Help build a culture of discipleship in the Worship Ministry.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the Worship Associate, Next Gen Worship Associate, and Production Director and Musicians.
- Work closely with Lead Pastor and part of collaborating on song selections and arrangements for worship services.
- Contribute to the planning of weekend worship services and special events.
- Build healthy ministry systems for planning, communication, scheduling, execution, and evaluation.
- Steward ministry budgets, gear and resources with wisdom and accountability.
- Schedule and communicate with volunteers and providing them with resources needed.
- Assist with Next Gen worship as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an ordained pastor
- Demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a life marked by biblical character.
- Fully embrace the mission, doctrine, vision, and values of Church in the Son.
- Possess strong musical ability with experience leading worship.
- Have demonstrated experience leading volunteers and developing leaders.
- Be highly organized with strong planning and communication skills.
- Be proficient with Planning Center and common worship technology platforms (Ableton, Multitracks, etc.).
- Lead with humility, emotional maturity, and a servant's heart.
- Work well within a collaborative staff culture.
- Have 3-5 years of experience leading worship in services exceeding 600 people.
