Position Purpose
The WTA Worship Associate helps lead and develop the worship ministry of Stonegate Fellowship, with a primary focus on the secondary venue while also supporting Student Ministry and other Worship Tech Arts environments and events throughout the month.
This person should be a capable worship leader who can lead vocally and from an instrument, build strong teams, develop people, and help cultivate a healthy culture of worship among our Servant Leaders and church.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead worship vocally and from an instrument in Stonegate's secondary venue and other ministry environments as needed.
- Oversee this worship venue environment approximately three Sundays each month.
- Take ownership of this venue each Sunday assigned, whether personally leading worship or serving and supporting the person who is leading.
- Ensure this venues worship team is prepared, supported, and able to lead with both quality and a worshipful heart.
- Recruit, develop, and build a healthy worship team for the secondary venue.
- Help facilitate and develop the Student Ministry worship team by supporting leaders, musicians, vocalists, rehearsals, and team development.
- Build meaningful relationships with musicians, vocalists, worship leaders, and Servant-Leaders.
- Identify and develop new leaders, helping people grow spiritually, relationally, and musically.
- Help cultivate a culture of worship, humility, excellence, and service within the Worship Tech Arts ministry and the broader church.
- Support other Worship Tech Arts services, rehearsals, events, and ministry needs throughout the month, including opportunities outside of the secondary venue and Student Ministry.
- Assist the Worship Minister and Worship Tech Arts team with church-wide services, special events, and seasonal ministry needs as appropriate.

Time Requirements
- 40+ hours per week; 46 Sundays per year.
- This position is a non-exempt, full time position.
- This position requires availability on days, nights and weekends.
