Position Summary:
The Family Ministries Coordinator is responsible for working under the direction of the Pastor of Family Ministries in overseeing various areas of Family Ministries as well as performing administrative duties for the Pastor of Family Ministries. This role is responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing various events for families at Fellowship. These events help further the mission of Fellowship Bible Church by creating opportunities for families to experience connection, transformation, and multiplication while matching the strategy of the Family Ministries team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Provide administrative support to the Pastor of Family Ministries, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, eSpace reservations, Ministry Platform support, and Budget reports
• Oversee all compliance for all Family Ministry volunteers, coordinating and supporting all campuses
• Help in planning, organizing, and executing all Family Ministries events as assigned
• In collaboration with the Pastor of Family Ministries, plan, execute, and oversee parent discipleship classes & dinners across all campuses
• Assist kids, students, and special needs departments with creative elements and event planning as needed on additional events, programs, classes, etc.
• Assist in larger church-wide events, as needed
• Assist kids, students, and special needs Sunday mornings with programming and/or events as needed
• Assist Fellowship Kids Ministry Assistant and Fellowship Student Ministries Assistant with administrative tasks as needed
• Attend team meetings
• Attend worship on Sunday mornings at the WLR campus of Fellowship Bible Church
• Other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Minimum administrative experience 1-3 years
Knowledge and Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Initiates well on their own anticipating needs
• Is hardworking and is willing to check things off the list
• Able to balance multiple tasks in an effective and efficient manner
• Serves and interacts well with volunteers, members and guests
• Serves and operates well in team environment
• Can organize details and communicate them well
• Able to take the end goal and be comfortable being released to accomplish the required task
• Relates well with parents and staff

• A heart to serve the Lord and grow his Kingdom
• If not a member of Fellowship Bible Church, will commit to going through the membership process
• Regular involvement in Fellowship Bible Church activities and events
• Signed acknowledgement of Fellowship Bible Church’s “Confession of Faith” form
• Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Fellowship Bible Church’s Employee Manual
• Living out the spiritual principles outlined in the “Code of Conduct”

Work Schedule:
• 36-40 hours/wk. Sun-Thur with flexibility for evening and weekend events
