We're looking for an Executive Creative Director to champion that mission by leading the entire creative and weekend experience of Ascent Church. This is a high-capacity leader who can carry the vision of the Lead Pastor and translate it into engaging, distraction-free, Christ-centered experiences across every environment.
This role is equal parts visionary, strategist, and builder. You'll oversee our worship, production, communications, and creative teams while developing leaders, building healthy systems, and creating a culture where excellence serves ministry—not the other way around.
This is a full-time leadership position based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, reporting directly to the Lead Pastor.

Qualifications
- 5–7 years of leadership experience in a Worship Pastor, Creative Director, Production, Broadcast, Communications, or similar church leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience leading worship, production, creative, or communications teams.
- Proven ability to build, grow, and develop volunteer and staff leaders.
- Strong understanding of worship planning and weekend service design.
- Experience overseeing production environments including audio, lighting, video, and broadcast and/or experience leading creative teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of excellence.
- Alignment with the mission, vision, and beliefs of Ascent Church.
