Position Summary
First Alliance Church is seeking a Part-Time Worship Leader with the potential to transition into afull-time ministry leadership role for the right candidate. Individuals with experience or gifting in areas such assmall groups, discipleship, or administration will be given strong consideration for expanded responsibilities.
The Worship Leader will cultivate a Christ-centered worship culture that is spiritually-filled, musically excellent, and culturally diverse.

Primary Responsibilities
Plan and lead worship for weekly Sunday services
Select songs that align with the sermon theme and the spiritual direction of the service
Lead weekly rehearsals with excellence and grace
Teach vocal harmonies and arrangements to background vocalists
Recruit, develop, and disciple worship team volunteers
Work collaboratively with the Lead Pastor to create meaningful worship experiences
Help cultivate a culture of prayer, spiritual preparation, and excellence within the worship ministry
Assist in developing future musicians and worship leaders

Excited about helping revitalize and relaunch a church. Think church planting.
Comfortable serving in a multicultural, multi-generational environment
Humble, teachable, and highly collaborative
Able to shepherd volunteers while maintaining musical excellence
Musical Style
Because our congregation reflects many cultures and generations, versatility is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable leading contemporary worship while drawing from a broad musical vocabulary that includes modern worship, gospel, hymns and songs that connect across cultures.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading worship in a local church setting
Strong vocal ability with a gift for leading an audience
Ability to lead rehearsals and teach vocal parts confidently
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience in multicultural ministry is a plus
Additional competencies in discipleship, small groups, administration, or pastoral ministry are highly valued fro full time consideration
Growth Opportunity
This position begins as part-time, but we intentionally desire to invest in the right leader. Candidates who demonstrate leadership capacity beyond worship, particularly in discipleship, small group ministry, administration, or pastoral leadership—may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time ministry position.
