This is a trusted, high-impact role for someone who loves Jesus, serves people well, communicates clearly, and knows how to bring order and follow-through to a fast-moving ministry environment.
At The Edge, our mission is simple: Loving God. Changing Lives. Transforming Communities. We are a church committed to reaching people far from God and serving our community through the local church, outreach ministries, Common Grounds, and practical partnerships. The person in this role will help the Senior Pastor stay focused on vision, preaching, leadership, pastoral care, and community impact.
What You’ll Do
Manage the Senior Pastor’s calendar, appointments, priorities, reminders, and meeting preparation.
Coordinate communication and follow-up with staff, leaders, church members, ministry partners, and community contacts.
Prepare agendas, correspondence, presentations, reports, briefing materials, and action lists.
Track decisions, deadlines, and delegated assignments so important commitments move forward.
Support leadership meetings, sermon preparation, special projects, events, and guest hospitality.
Handle sensitive pastoral and organizational information with exceptional discretion and care.
Anticipate needs, solve problems, and create systems that make ministry more focused and effective.

Are trustworthy, emotionally mature, relationally warm, and calm under pressure.
Notice details, plan ahead, communicate clearly, and follow through without repeated reminders.
Can manage changing priorities while protecting confidentiality and treating people with dignity.
