Sylvan Hills Community Church in Sherwood, Arkansas is seeking a part time Worship Leader who loves Jesus, loves people, and loves leading a church family into joyful Christ centered worship. Our mission is Life Change Happens Here and we believe worship is one of the primary ways God forms His people.
This role blends musical leadership with technological management to create a seamless worship experience each week. If you have a passion for worship, and a willingness to help strengthen the worship ministry of a growing church, we would love to talk with you.
What You Will Do
• Lead the praise team during Sunday morning worship, guiding musicians and vocalists in Spirit filled worship.
• Select biblically sound songs in collaboration with the Pastor’s sermon series.
• Prepare and lead weekly rehearsals.
• Encourage unity and spiritual growth within the worship ministry.
• Oversee technological management including sound, media, livestream, and basic IT needs that support Sunday worship.
• Coordinate technical elements with volunteers to ensure smooth services.
• Assist with seasonal services and special events.
• Participate in a weekly one hour staff meeting.
Compensation
• Part time position
• $300 per week
• Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO)
