As we seek to reach more people, we are looking for a passionate and inspiring Worship Music Leader who will accompany themself to guide and uplift our small congregation music as we seek to grow from a presently mostly senior congregation. The ideal candidate will foster an engaging blended music worship environment that encourages spiritual growth, community participation, and heartfelt worship experiences. This role requires a dedicated individual with strong music leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to serve Jesus and mentor others in their faith journey.
Duties
- Lead congregational worship during Sunday and Wednesday services with enthusiasm and reverence.
- Select appropriate music and coordinate rehearsals with praise team to ensure seamless worship sessions.
- Foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that encourages active participation from all attendees.
- Mentor and develop emerging worship team members, providing guidance on musical skills and spiritual maturity.
- Collaborate with Pastor in planning worship themes aligned with sermon series and church calendar.
- Maintain a respectful environment that reflects the church’s values and mission.
Qualifications
- Solid Christian faith and baptism.
- Proven experience in leading worship music ministry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with Pastor and volunteers along with congregational members.
- Participate in church fellowships and activities.
- Ability to mentor others, fostering growth in both musical talent and spiritual development.
