Praise & Worship Pastor
We are seeking a Spirit‐led Worship Pastor and with technical knowledge to lead the worship and production ministries at Living Hope Church. This role is responsible for cultivating a worship environment where people encounter the presence of God and connect with one another.
The Worship Pastor will provide musical and spiritual leadership and support tech services to ensure that audio, lighting, and video systems effectively enhance all services and ministry events.
Responsibilities:
• Lead worship services with musical excellence and spiritual depth
• Select appropriate music for services in collaboration with the ministry team
• Rehearse and direct musicians and vocalists
• Mentor and develop new musicians and vocalists, including youth and young adults
• Educate the congregation on the significance and heart of worship
Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience leading worship in a church environment; please provide video footage as part of your application.
• Ability to lead worship proficiently from a primary instrument (piano or guitar)
• Familiarity with Planning Center, Multitracks and SongSelect
• Basic understanding of music theory and strong instrumental proficiency
• Strong communication skills to engage and connect with your team and the congregation
• Leadership ability to guide and develop a worship team
• A heart for mentoring and equipping volunteers
