To lead people into the presence of God and to worship God through music. As a Worship Leader, you’ll get to advance the gospel by leading and building a culture of worship for our church community.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Leader to guide our church community in worship and spiritual growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of music ministry, cultivating and stewarding an atmosphere that encourages participation and connection with God through worship. This role is vital in shaping the worship experience, leading the worship team, and engaging the community in meaningful worship moments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building the team off of authenticity, purity and heart for God and for the house.
- Care for the team members
- Assist in the overall leadership of the church, ensuring all worship experiences are executed with excellence and intentionality.
- Contribute to developing the worship culture for the church.
- Oversee and lead worship for the worship experience(s) and corresponding events.
- Develop and pastor the leaders, vocalists and musicians within the worship team.
- Implement an infrastructure for all standard operating systems for worship, cultural expectations, servant leadership, and budget stewardship for the area you oversee.
- Support your Lead Pastors, production teams, and staff.*
- Miscellaneous day-to-day administrative tasks.
MUST- HAVES
- Personal relationship with Jesus
- Passion to grow the local church and reach people with the Good News of Jesus
- Experience leading a worship team/band
- Experienced vocally and leading worship from the platform
- Ability to make sound, critical decisions under pressure
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in formal written communication
- Proven track record of effective leadership and team building
- Growth mindset and alignment with FRAIS Values
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Familiarity with FRAIS Church
- Experience with Planning Center
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Multitracks and other FRAIS Church Administrative systems
