About Cypress Methodist Church
Located in the thriving community of Cypress, Texas, we are a vibrant, Christ-centered family dedicated to worshipping God in spirit and truth. As a member congregation of the Global Methodist Church, we are committed to the historic Christian faith, scriptural holiness, and the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.
We are seeking a relational, energetic, and spiritually mature leader to shepherd our next generation. We believe that youth and children are not just the church of tomorrow, but the church of today.

3. Leadership, Administration & Fundraising
- Volunteer Development: Recruit, train, vet (background checks), and encourage a team of lay volunteers to serve in all ministry areas.
- Parent Partnership: Actively communicate with parents, equipping them with resources to be the primary spiritual leaders in their homes.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly enforce the church’s "Safe Sanctuary/Ministry Safe" policies to ensure the physical and emotional safety of all minors.
- Budgeting: Manage the annual budget for both youth and children’s ministries.
- The Pumpkin Patch: Take primary leadership and organizational oversight of the Annual Pumpkin Patch. This includes volunteer coordination, logistics, and community engagement for this signature fundraising and outreach event.
- Fundraising Strategy: Plan and execute other fundraising initiatives as needed to support mission trips and ministry expansion.
