Position Overview
The Production Director at FCC plays a key leadership role in shaping the technical and creative environment of our worship services and ministry events. This position oversees all areas of production—including audio, video, lighting, and livestream—ensuring every service is carried out with excellence and consistency. The Production Director helps support the mission and vision of FCC by managing technology, developing teams, and maintaining high standards across all venues on campus.
Qualifications
The ideal Production Director will:
Maintain a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Engage regularly in Scripture, prayer, and spiritual disciplines.
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and relational skills.
Be proficient in audio engineering, lighting design, video systems, and live production.
Work confidently and calmly in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Build, equip, and shepherd both volunteer and paid production team members.
Manage budgets responsibly and oversee equipment inventory and maintenance.
Core Responsibilities, Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers for audio, video, lighting, and livestream roles.
Lead with humility and a servant-hearted approach, fostering unity and creativity within the team.
Provide hands-on development, technical coaching, and spiritual encouragement.
Technical Direction
Oversee all production elements for weekly services, special events, and online broadcasts.
Ensure excellent sound, lighting, video, and visual presentation that enhances the worship experience.
Partner closely with Worship Pastor and Teams to plan and execute service elements and stage designs.
Maintain, repair, and upgrade production systems and equipment as needed.
Service & Event Execution
Create and manage planning center run sheets, cues, and transitions for services.
Oversee rehearsals and sound checks to ensure technical readiness.
Support the production needs of church-wide events such as worship nights and other gatherings.
Administration & Stewardship
Lead the planning and management of the production decisions with wisdom and accountability.
Oversee equipment inventory and maintenance cycles across all production spaces.
Ensure all production areas comply with safety, copyright, and licensing standards.
