SUMMARY:
The Central Admin Communications Coordinator supports the mission and vision of St. Andrew's by coordinating and implementing communication efforts across digital, print, and in-person channels. This role ensures clarity, consistency, and creativity in how St. Andrew's connects with its congregation and community.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write, edit, and proofread copy to ensure clear, accurate, and engaging communication.
- Coordinate day-to-day communications across multiple platforms (web, email, print, social media).
- Manage and maintain website content and updates (WordPress).
- Support creation and distribution of church-wide emails, newsletters, and campaigns (MailChimp, PCO).
- Assist with graphic design needs using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Help schedule and track projects in Asana, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Implement and maintain consistent St. Andrew's branding in all communications.
- Provide basic social media support, including scheduling and monitoring posts.
- Collaborate with Central Admin and other ministry teams to ensure smooth communication flow.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Personal relationship with Jesus and commitment to spiritual growth.
- Excellent written communication skills, with attention to grammar, detail, and tone.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Collaborative and flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and communication best practices.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
- Experience with Asana, MailChimp, and Planning Center Online (preferred, not required).
- Experience with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Mac computers.
